FAQ

The questions owners actually ask.

What printers does it work with?
Any standard ESC/POS thermal printer, over USB or network. Receipts and kitchen dockets both print on the spot, and you can route each station its own.
How do card payments work?
Card runs through an integrated EFTPOS terminal at the counter. Cash is handled right in Docket, with the tendered amount and change due.
What happens when the internet drops?
You keep taking cash orders. Docket holds them on the device and syncs them automatically the moment you're back online, so service never stops.
What hardware do I need?
An Android tablet, held in landscape on the counter, plus a standard ESC/POS printer and an EFTPOS terminal. No proprietary hardware to lease.
Is customer data safe?
Docket is device-bound to one store and locked behind a staff PIN between orders. There are no personal accounts and no customer data stored on the device.
Can I run more than one till?
Yes. Pair each tablet to the store once, and every till stays consistent. Handy for multi-site operators who want the same counter everywhere.
