Last updated: 2026
These terms cover your use of Docket POS (Docket), provided by [Legal entity name] (we, us). By using Docket you agree to them.
Using Docket
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Docket to run the till at your venue, on a tablet you pair to your store. You are responsible for your staff's use of the app on that device.
Your setup
- You supply the Android tablet, the ESC/POS printer and the EFTPOS terminal.
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, tax settings and the accuracy of what you charge.
- You are responsible for keeping staff PINs and the paired device secure.
Payments and tax
Card payments are handled by your EFTPOS provider under your agreement with them. You are responsible for meeting your own tax and record-keeping obligations, including GST where it applies.
Availability
Docket keeps taking cash orders when the internet drops and syncs them when the connection returns. We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Docket, attempt to break its security, or use it to break the law.
Disclaimers
Docket is provided on an "as is" basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to any rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the app or the cost of doing so.
Changes
We may update Docket and these terms. We will change the date above when the terms change.
